PC204 - Preaching Conference & Intensive

2026 Unit Information

The three-day intensive will continue to explore the message of Hebrews and its implications for preaching. Renowned New Testament scholar, Dr. David deSilva will guide us through the exegetical issues and pastoral considerations of Hebrews and Rev. Dr. Marc Rader, part-time faculty and local pastor, will reflect on the ways that homiletic theory and practice interacts with hermeneutical insight in the preparation and delivery of sermons. The principles learned - both exegetically and homiletically - will better equip the student to interact with the New Testament more broadly and strengthen their ability to effectively preach.

NOTE: This unit includes the single day conference, the three consecutive days of the intensive, as well as several on-line tutorials over the course of the semester.
