EM040 - Mission Field Education

This unit is about engaging with and reflecting on a short-term mission experience. There are two options for completing this unit:

  1. Students may gain course credit for short-term missions they attend through external organisations. For example, if you’re part of a team from your church going on a short-term trip, then we can help you prepare beforehand and reflect afterwards.
    We need 2 months notice to organise this option.
     
  2. Students can participate in Morling’s short-term annual mission program. Each year during Winter School (Jun-Jul), we take a small group of students for a cross-cultural experience. Locations vary from year to year; please ask any EM lecturer for more information.

Unit Exclusions: 

Students may only take 24cps of "field education" units in all fields within a course.
